Main Hall

The magnificent Main Hall is the ideal venue for larger events.  The Hall is licensed for 300 people with seating for 250 theatre style or up to 230 at tables.  The building benefits from a public address system and an induction loop in the Main Hall, Meeting Room and Reception area.  Free WiFi is available throughout.

With a large permanent stage which can be extended by our portable staging and state of the art sound and lighting systems (full specifications on request), the Hall is suitable for staging theatre productions, concerts, dances, conferences, wedding receptions, celebration parties, and much more. Directly behind the stage is the Green Room, which makes an ideal dressing/changing room with its own shower and toilet facilities.

The Hall already has bookings for Craft Fairs, Charity Auctions, Christmas Bazaars, Conferences, Bingo Nights, Dance and Yoga Classes.  We are very keen to make the most of our wonderful facilities and welcome enquiries from anyone who thinks the venue may be suitable for their event.

The Hall has connecting doors to the large Meeting Room which can seat 80 people and can be used as buffet/dining area or just as extra space for stalls and exhibitions. The Meeting Room has  direct access and a serving hatch to the kitchen. Outside caterers are welcome to make use of our well equipped kitchen, or for smaller functions we can provide our own in-house catering.  Hirers are welcome to use the kitchen to serve teas and coffees at their events.  Use of the kitchen is free for community activities, but there will be a charge for other events.

The Hall has a Licence to sell Alcohol. Please ask for further details.

Community use for The Hall is £16.50 per hour, with commercial hire at £18.560. Other events are charged by arrangement depending on the nature and size of the function.
